Terms and conditions of warranty
Please read the following for all details on your warranty coverage.
What is covered
VPR Impex Inc. products are covered by a warranty for a period of ONE YEAR on all components of the system against manufacturing defects. Warranty for all vapor systems also includes THREE YEARS on the boiler and heating elements against manufacturing defects. Warranty begins from the date indicated on the original invoice.
All warranty coverage is at the Service center counter. Transportation costs to and from an authorized service centre is the responsibility of the consumer. If the consumer requests an onsite repair, a service call fee will be applied for travel to the customer’s location. Even if the repair itself is covered under warranty, THE SERVICE CALL FEE WILL STILL APPLY.
Obligation of the original owner
The original dated invoice must be retained as proof of purchase and presented to the authorized service centre before warranty service is rendered.
What is not covered
The warranty does not include those components subject to wear and tear (O-rings, brushes, filters, etc…). VPR Impex Inc. is not liable and will not assume warranty responsibility for any problems resulting from the following:
- Any liquid OTHER THAN WATER used in the water reservoir will automatically VOID the warranty in its entirety.
- If it is deemed that the regular, necessary maintenance has not been performed, NO SERVICE WILL BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. Regular maintenance of the machine is not covered under warranty (rinsing and treatments).
- Careless operation or handling, misuse; an evident, verified wrong usage of the system and/or use not in accordance with the instruction booklet.
- Tampering or opening of the machine by anyone other than an authorized service center technician
- Systems purchased from an unauthorized distributor or point of sale.
- Usage of a residential system for commercial applications.
Warranty service
- Before bringing a system in for service, it is strongly recommended that the client contact the point of sale or distributor from whom it was purchased for troubleshooting. If it is deemed that the system needs service, you may then proceed to your local representative with a copy of your original invoice for service.
- All service will be performed by VPR Impex Inc. or an authorized distributor, point of sale or service center.
- Any component repaired under warranty will be covered for a SIX MONTH period from the date of service.
